Hi special, what happened is this:- I made a set of backup dvd's but the dog took off with one of them and chewed it up. I need a preferably new copy of this file as it won't let me make another set of backup DVD's. HP only let you make one copy unless you can modify this file, being as I have already made a copy I need to see what the original was!!

This one might be the same. Think they are generic.

I have a ghosted factory image from an HP Win7 somewhere. If none of those answers work, I'll take a look for it. Pulled the drive after the BIOS went poof but should still have the image file stored.

Yeah I think what special posted about deleting it is what you are looking for. I found the image and no file exists. Most of the FLG files are just text files for options to run with the factory batch files. If file exist, run option else skip. The only FLG file that I found that might be related was NoMinImageRecovery.flg

i am hope this is correct translate

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

With four reativ ik @ and Korshun, thanks for responding! After all I solved his problem! Maybe someone solution seems that it is made in one place, but still! After all I'm sitting with this problem for three days, break a lot of forums. In the end, I managed to pull out of the partition RECOVERY all wood and the program! But I was not enough! I wanted to restore the factory settings in any way, or at least get it working RECOVERY DVD. Now, in order:
1. I understand that there are several versions of the HP Recovery Manager and to be able to record another set DVDshek Internet everywhere say that we should remove hpcd.sys and everything will be OK. But I did not find him at home. Today, I found a file RMCStatus.bin, lying directly in the root partition RECOVERY Googling, did know that he is responsible for not record additional copies RECOVERY DVD.
2. Just now naryl here I quote: Quote: "discs to recover the factory system (by the way, these sharomyzhniki even allowed to write a set of all time)" Quote: "To bypass the restriction, it is easy 1. Delete file RMCStatus.bin (hidden) from 2 locations : - c: \ Program Files \ Hewlett-Packard \ Recovery Manager \ - root drive d: \ (RECOVERY) 2. Remove Rebecca.dat (also hidden) from c: \ Windows \ System32 \ "Since I took down a system that was in the box with him, then delete the file on the ill-fated path c: \ Program Files \ Hewlett-Packard \ Recovery Manager \ - makes no sense, because it is not there. So I just deleted from the root partition RMCStatus.bin RECOVERY, and Rebecca.dat removed from c: \ Windows \ System32 \. These two files are hidden. 2. Then I was in Windows operating HP Recovery Manager, what I did: - The Recovery section, I found a file base.wim, size up to 14 GB! Just lay it all wood, bend reaching complete and sobsna very image restoration. I copied it in order not to alter the original, for example the D: drive 3. I downloaded a program WinMount. It allows you to view files. WIM and others. With it, I mounted copied base.wim. It was a 5-Th folders named 1, 2, 3, 4, Files. 4. In the folder "3" I got into the Program Files (x86) / Hewlett-Packard/HP Recovery manager. Here we nada Rebecca.exe This is HP RECOVERY MANAGER. 5. If all waterways mentioned earlier you will not have any RMCStatus.bin Rebecca.dat, the program will create another copy of the Recovery DVD or USB drive. 6. And one last quote: Quote: I should add that after full factory image of the hard disk drive or DVD from the flash recovery vWindows 7 in the folder "recovery" partition "RECOVERY" creates a flag - this is a file "UCRD.flg", which also prohibits duplicate entries. You just need to remove! And you can record more recovery discs. F11 at work and restore the system it will not change. Now I can create as many as you like Recovery DVD, Recovery important not to remove the partition. In addition I would say that everything should be done when displaying hidden files as well, or I - used Total Commander. Still, of course, was not restored, but it should work!
