CrypKey 7.1 Activation Key
I have never tried to crack a crypkey application before and all the information I found on the 'net is very old. So I started reverse engineering the application and the crypkey server but I realized it would take too long and someone might have walked this path before. So I would appreciate any current information regarding this protection that is pertinent to my case. The license server name is crp32002.ngn. I already figured out the master and the user keys from reverse engineering the application (mk is 256 hex digits long and uk is 26). The app prompts me for an activation key supplying a 28-hex-digit registration number.
I would really appreciate guidance for cracking this app. |

Successful crack
Thanks for this great tool!
The ckinfo tool made it very easy to crack Crypkey 7.1. However it took me some time because the app didn't show a CK registration dialog but its own instead which didn't included the sitecode. So I had to reverse engineer and patch here and there to force it to show the sitecode. |

Sorry was busy the past few days and hence didn't get time to login... I am interested and have done a bit of work regarding the Crypkey, right from its earlier versions.. My thread is at Code:

CrypKey SDK 7.1
@TechLord:
I spent most of the time reverse engineering and debugging. I wish I would have had the CrypKey SDK 7.1 but only found the 6120 Instant Installs which included the SDK 6, and wasted some time to get the passwords but in the end was of no use because the disassembly matched very poorly with it. The app itself is too big to be posted (3GB+). Which app is giving you trouble? |

@nino:
Thank you for the reply.. As I have stated in my post, I particularly don't have any trouble with any app using Crypkey, but earlier on ( around 9 years ago or so) I had a lot of problem with an app, and it is one of my very first posts here on this forum. Though I hads bought the program, the Crypkey was creating such a mess of my computer that I had to finally get rid of the Crypkey... At that time, with the help of a few members in this forum, I was able to learn a lot and finally remove all the Calls to Crypkey functions. At this point of time, I had come to learn that the Crypkey Version 7 SDK was very much modified from that of SDK version 6 ( which you have rightly clarified in your post above). Consequently, I was and am still very much interested to see what all they'd modified and thus learn more of it. But I find that the Crypkey guys believe in using OBSCURITY to avoid any crackers getting to their protected apps, and hence even after a great deal of search, I find that it is almost impossible to get my hands on the Crypkey SDK version 7 ( am sure that the Crypkey guys reading this post must be very happy !). At the same time, I find that it is VERY VERY EASY to crack any of the Crypkey protected apps. Right now my main focus is on a Wibu CodeMeter protected app, which is turning out to be quite a challenge to fully unpack. I have been able to make it run FULLY without the dongle though, so far. Was planning to see if anyone here would be interested ... Most of the work is done and only around 10% of the work remains to be done... Good luck ! |
