I have got a similar error - "Error in finding the last SEH" when I try to unpack on the VM Ware virtual machine, even though I use the correct version of the stripper, for the ASPr 1.22-1.23 beta 21...

But it doesn't occur on the main machine even though the OS etc are EXACTLY the same ( Win XP SP1 ). I have seen this time and again...

Also, I was just experimenting today trying to use the stripper ( Correct version), to unpack ASPack 1.23 (Packed with ASPr 1.22-1.23 beta 21).
It was on the virtual machine, and everything went on flawlessly, but it said some access violation and refused to run after unpacking...It was complaining about some the unpacked prog trying to read some memory at some location where it was not supposed to...
Could not delve deeper into the mystery as I have a nasty exam ( or a series of them , starting Monday, the whole of next week ) !
I plan to later try the same on the main machine and see the difference. I find that in most of the cases, some amount of manual intervention is essential !

Maybe someone will find this useful and maybe even enlighten me, since I'll be returning to this problem only after the exams ! Some food for thought ...

I think i'm not wrong if i say that there wont be a new version at least, not public. Asprotect became harder than before to unpack(2.2 SKE Not unpacked), especially with the iat rebuilder, that it would be difficult to code a perfect universal unpacker that could work for 5 minutes, the time before alexey reads this forum and breaks the unpacker, so i think that it will stay private(if one) as all armadillo unpackers after 3.05 and all unpackers for strong known protections such as ACProtect, Obsidium, SVKP, Themida, Securom, Starforce(I think it doesn't even exists a private unpacker) and Safedisk just to mention some of them.

I get the same error with a BPL (DLL) i need to unpack (ASPACK)...

its a hard one.. cant find anything o bust that thing open.

I also have problems with stripper in junction with ASProtect v1.23 RC4.

v2.07 can not unpack:

09:51:48 - executing.. may take for a few minutes.. be patient..
09:51:48 - can not unpack this file..
09:51:48 - done..

v2.11 RC2 indeed unpacks, but the file is not executable and crashes with a read-error at 0x00001161.
Manual unpack with Ollydbg and ImpRec shows the same error.
It seems, as if we all would have to wait onto a new version of stripper.
