iOS iBoot Source code leak - Probably termed as the biggest leak in the history

I am sure most of you might have seen this.

https://github.com/h1x0rz3r0/iBoot

It is the iBoot source code from Apple.

Think of it like the bios on which loads the Operating system. This piece of code loads the Apple signed iOS / Kernel after the power on operation on the older iPhones, but portions of it might still be used in the recent versions of iOS too.

Recently, they have the introduced secure enclave chip/processor which does most of this code's functionalities. This probably could be a good read to get to know some iOS / iBoot internals!

Woow it's unusual for me to see github reported by dmca,i'm reading since years of sources and reverse engineering,a lot companies involved to a possible copyright infringements, well don't understimate the power of an apple.

I know that the employee who stole the code stole all sorts of Apple internal tools, because according to a friend of the employee
Quote:

He pulled everything, all sorts of Apple internal tools and whatnot
and the BaseBand and other Apple internal tools source was leaked to private group and not to the public
Quote:

The person took the iBoot source code—and additional code that has yet to be widely leaked—and shared it with a small group of five people.
and yes we are interesting in BaseBand source (and any Apple internal tools) if you have a copy please share it.

That doesn't appear to be the full baseband source code, its just a binary and then source for some tools (tools to sign things I think)
If it was the full baseband source with all the cellular network code and things it would be a much more interesting thing to look at.

Does Apple guys still shutting down tons of git repos with their socks? :)

Would be lovely to take a look, no news around the other private shared files ?
