I don't take credit for any of this, this is just all leaked in the last few months over the web. All of this is public info at this point now and easy to find. Credits go to whoever leaked each thing etc.

Does anyone know if any of the XBOX leaks include the DirectX implementation source code (i.e. the xbox version of d3d8 and d3dx8)

Yes, the AnonFiles link does include it. Was the prime reason I wanted it as well. :P

Nice, that might come in handy for some reverse engineering work on some DirectX8 stuff at some point...

Oh wow, good to know d3d8 xbox code is there. Anyone know if d3d code has been leaked in other releases?

Microsoft made some interesting d3dx code open source on their github. Though a lot of stuff like PRT baking is missing:

https://github.com/microsoft/UVAtlas
https://github.com/microsoft/DirectXMath

Should upload the dx8 source stand alone. That is the gem amongst all this. Are there any differences between xbox and desktop Windows distro dx8 source or is it common to both pre compilation? Any reason the NT3.5 is special at this point or did the win2k leak include more modern versions of all that code and thus remains the most up to date leak?

win2k leak is partial source code, while NT 3.5 leak is full(with build tools?).

I did not check it thoroughly

There are differences specific for the Xbox due to the fact it runs specific hardware and such, so things are optimized for that setup. The Xbox version is fairly cut down/cut back to only include what is actually used on the console. So it's not enough to take and recompile for say, Wine on Linux, without a lot of modifications.
