IDA 6.6 now use FlexNET

now time to generate the needed patch and license for IDA Pro 6.6 :-)

it is only used locally for checking inside the same enterprise the floating licenses (dynamically assigned using a first-open-first-use approach) and hence it doesn't add anything new: you'll still have to card a version and eventually, only then, if the version you carded was licensed with floating licensing, patch flexNET in order to prevent it from contacting the licensing server, OR steal also the local server installation files :-/

the vendor v11.12 x86/x64 is available to download and you can fish the seeds and search the pub key, if it use the ECC protection.. But i guess will use the trusted storage with only server activation like the most recent flexlm protections.... And you need to patch also the fnp library....

Looks like it is time to buy IDA

What is in the newest versions that you need so badly? And if you need it that badly, why not support the developer and get it in the first place, especially if it will be used for commercial purposes?

I am not saying thats what you intend to do with it, but please shine some light on that for me. 6.1 and 6.5 can get the job(s) done though I know 6.6 has a lot of stability. Regardless, what is worth paying 1k eur?

Also, we are not entitled to anybody leaking or cracking or releasing anything...so I am simply thankful for what we currently have.

good for us ida6.6 flexnet vendors v11.12 are not using the trusted storage.. Only the ecc at 113 bits.. Here in the picture below, seeds and pubkey..
For this who want inject your pubkey and make a working license. The program use only the SIGN and not the SIGN2...!!!
The pubkeys from the SIGN2 recovered by the tool are fake...

The year 2015 has been quite busy for us so far, partially due to bug bounty submissions and related bug fixes. IDA v6.8 is mainly a maintenance release but it has some new features:

* Dalvik: added support for OAT files
* Better analysis of prolog code; better register tracking, especially for ARM
* Added support for long names (some work still pending)
* PPC: added support for Power ISA 2.07
* Fixed many vulnerabilities thanks to our bug bounty program
