Question about connecting this server
 

I'm really sad about connecting this server from my home country, the banana republic of germany...
I think I can count all successful connects in a month on one hand.

So is this a personal problem, or how does it look like with other germans?
Is this a problem of T-Online?

Don't like to be thrown out by idleness, but what should I do?
No connect, no post and no cooperation... :(

It has been very difficult for me to connect from EU for the last 2 or 3 weeks, until 2 days ago. Now it is back to normal.

Well I have this problems for lots of months now.
And if I get a connection, it's slower than my modem 15 years ago

Maybe 10kb/s, so building the website take endless, I think you may imagine, what hell browse through new posts is.

So sorry about that, I don't know how to change it... :confused:

We have both http and https.
When one is slow, try another one.

If both are slow, I have no idea how to solve the problem.

Same here, from EU I've noticed that the server works better in the very early morning or late afternoon.

I live in NL, past weeks there were serious issues, but everything appears to be back to normal now.

for me the same hier in Marocco and also when I'm in Germany, the connection very slow, sometimes i have to reload many times

Ok I will try difference between http and https, but I think this banana republic is already monitored...
I'm member on a hidden part of german forum with server in russia and this also works only sometimes...
I think getting connection in eastern direction like russia and china isn't liked especially in this bullshit country? :p :mad:

Recently I noticed I can connect without hassle and few months back it was ethic to connect.

I discover something difference on the browser.

If I use Tor browser I can connect easily.
If I use Tor onion it takes forever to connect.
If I use Firefox (very slow) is like snail chasing rat.
If I use Chrome sometime it connect fast and sometime not.

I think YouToo is right...
Just had a try with IE and it's lightyears faster than Firefox!
Don't want to miss Firefox, so I have to look for another browser just for ExeTools.
Never will take IE, may be Chrome, Opera or something like that.

Hope I will be faster in future... :)

I wasn't able to connect most of the time for the past few months - but it wasn't because of the speed, but simply because DNS here didn't resolve forum.exetools.com at all, as I found in the end.

As a workaround, I resolved it somewhere else, put the corresponding IP address into the hosts file and everything is good... until the forum changes IP, of course :)
(OK, a better solution would be to use a different DNS, I know.)
