LGTOOL v. 9.6 cracked Video Test

Cracked using a combination of regular on-the-fly memory patching, code injection and direct physical memory accessing. Direct memory accessing maybe one interesting topic for an upcoming practical tutorial.

Take a look at the Video Test:

zeytunak 09-19-2016 12:50

admins please make a report section for who that want to report his cracks!!!

TEST REPORT VIDEO !!!!!!!

HooK 09-21-2016 02:43

zeytunak, Not sure what you mean by your comment. Are you saying his crack is not working or does it contains malicious code? Or what?

You've used plural for crack(s) making it seems all his releases are bad or something...

Don't know what @Zeytunak really meant but what I WOULD like to say is that there should probably be a SEPARATE SECTION for posting just VIDEOS etc that more or less just SHOW OFF ;) that someone has cracked something, rather than show how EXACTLY it was done.

This seems to be a new trend these days in the forum :)

Earlier on, when someone posted a video, it used to be a TUT or something where something could actually be LEARNT from it...

A video showing that a cracked app is running well and NOTHING ELSE APART FROM THAT should be in a separate section dedicated to it, so that users can make an INFORMED decision BEFORE watching that VIDEO, that they would NOT further their TECHNICAL SKILLS AT ALL, after watching such DEMO VIDEOS of cracked apps.

Sorry if this offends anyone but just my 2 cents - when someone watches a video in a forum like this , MOST of them expect to learn a few new techniques from it.

Preferably, such videos that are NOTHING BUT A DEMO of the cracked app should be REQUIRED to be marked upfront as such, so that users would not waste their time watching it, hoping to LEARN something from it, if they do not want to...

I haven't watched the video above but as far as what TechLord said, I couldn't have said this any better... IMO, I'd send any type of such videos straight to trash as they have no value... plus, it would help stop the retarded trend that started where fucktard facebook-style mentality of posting shit just to get likes instead of contributing to the community...

Thank you @hookahice ...

I DID watch the video and to put it in rather "decent" language ;) I can safely make a statement that the video contains ZERO REVERSING-RELATED CONTENT.

Just a video showing the interface of the cracked app.

Yes, I did consign the video to my Trash but I cannot recover back the time that I spent downloading and playing it... :)

Maybe a separate SECTION of the forum for content with ZERO reverse-engineering related material would solve the problem...

@TechLord, Hookahice
I agree with you ... but we must say that Aesculapius actually learnt *not* to post this kind of "promotional" videos in tutorials section and started posting them here instead ... in 'general discussions'.

Yeah, we could have expected some reversing content even in 'general discussion' topics, so ... yes, a "crack show" area would be more suitable ;)

Best Regards,
Tony

Sorry, but there already is a section for this kind of posts. It's called Trash. I don't see any reason why one should create a separate section for videos, that don't have absolutely any value and are nothing but waste of resources. This is reversing forum, not fucking facebook...

I agree FULLY !

Just because the section is titled as "General Discussion" , at least till NOW, we do not have people posting stuff about the WEATHER, or whatever MOVIES they watched or what did with their girl-friend over the weekend etc :D

"Promotional" posts ;) were always discouraged in this forum as far as I can remember.

mr.exodia 09-21-2016 22:19

Well, seems like this topic is doing fine in general discussion :D

bolo2002 09-21-2016 22:53

Or at least, posting the 'loader' would be nice :)

tonyweb 09-21-2016 23:51

@The Old Pirate
I didn't voted for a new section to be created ... I just wanted to say that this kind of posts are good for a 'crack show' area, if it would have existed ... :)

Peace,
Tony

Hi guys, it's a show off video. Targets with over 250 patches are possible using different tricks like this one. About techniques I'll probably do some tuts about it as said in the original post when my available time permits me. Right now I'm finishing a requested tut about local and system-wide API hooking fully explained and an easy library to do so which I'm sure will be of use for many. Or at least I hope so. Greets.
