breakpoints not breaking in olly..
Another noob question from yours truly.
Tools ; olly1.10 with hidedebug 1.22 and memoryhackingsoftware 2.0.6.8 Ill make it short and im hoping someone will recognize the behavior im about to describe.. In this application breakpoints arent always breaking (used to break fine, this is a new version) .. stunned me at first as it looked like the code/memory wasnt accessed anymore, but i can with good certainty say it *is* .. weird thing is, when i hit memhack for a live-view of the memory section, it will 'flash' quickly back and forth between the data i know to be there and plain zero's. SO i wonder .. are these two observations related in nature and is this some sort of new 'protection' ? :) |
..
I would make the assumption that they are using anti-breakproints...
Clearing the drx registers ??? |
Thanks!
I aquired the latest version of hidedebug and others .. that seems to have fixed that particular 'falshing' issue .. not certain what that was an indication of.. flawed software whatnot..
Anyway got it working and was able find what i was looking for .. |
