Ollydebug plugin crashes.. how do i locate problem?
Hi Guys,
I installed the OllyFlow plugin and now I am getting a windows exception when my Olly Initalizes. The real problem is that I have almost every plugin installed and I was wondering if there is some kind trace I can run (without going through each possible combination of plugin) to tell me which plugin is failing to load? Thanks REDBull |
i think its not a good idea to install all plugins in ollydbg. just install only the one you really need.

you can install only 32 plugins, the plugin-buffer of OllyDebug itself isn't bigger. if you install more, olly will crash because program-values get overwritten (i guess oleh didn't expect so much plugins, there's no check if buffer is full). either you find a way to rebase & enlarge it or you do what diablo said :D you will loose speed if you install every plugin and some also decrease the usuability of ollydbg (e. g. Anti-Anti-Hardware Breakpoint which has problems with F12 > pause).
if the crash is really plugin-issue, you can debug ollydebug by ollydebug and find the problem |
Hi Guys,
Thanks for the suggestions and the info on the limitation of the number of concurrent plugins. The problem is not in the plugins it is mearly a crash when I load too many plugins. :) |
