Emule runs in a couple ways though, so merely saying it's slow really doesn't get you anywhere. Like everything else emule is only fast if the object you're trying to get is well seeded. In other words there's many people with the file.

So generally we're either speaking that the file is rather new, or that it's porn. Also to add to the benifit of the emule system there's been an extra underlying system developed. You get placed on someone's queue, but if you are to send to them at any time you're rating with that one person goes higher. This way his client will automatically move you down the list faster than others.

So merely leaving your client on and sharing with everyone helps out, but not perfectly in a bit torrent way.

So I mean, I guess simply put, it's slow because you're asking for something rare. I guess look for more porn? :-)
