Anyway back to the topic,
There a couple of things you can try :
1 Set the ports to different ports than the default
A number of ISP are limiting traffic on the default ports for emule so it's better to change them. In the Connections tab under Preferences you can set the TCP and UDP ports for the client port and the UDP port for Kadmilia. Just set them to anything you want
2. Check if your ports are open to access from the outside (no firewall blocking them)
If you don't do that you will get a low id
For this you can go to h__p://tdn.no-ip.org/connection_test and test the different ports you entered
3. Test your connection speed and enter the exact numbers in the settings of emule
What many people don't realize is that having the settings right in the wizard when it asks what your connection is, is very important.
To do this go to h__p://www.broadbandreports.com/stest to test your connection and then click on the wizard to set your connection type accordingly (on the bottom of the windows there is a way to enter numbers manually, enter the one you found there)
