StarForce assigned the rights for the ASPack Software project

StarForce Technologies Company informs on purchase of the rights to project ASPack Software. The acquisition of the rights for ASPack Software product line was planned in the StarForces development strategy for 2007-2008. This acquisition is aimed for the StarForce product lines extension and strengthening of the companys position in the copy protection market.

There wont be any changes in the price policy, in the scheme of sales and technical support in the future. StarForce will carry out the conditions for the bought products without any changes. Products still can be bought by the web-site, and the forum will function without any changes.

ASPack Software products are the file compressor (ASPack) and the systems of software protection of applications (ASProtect ASProtect SKE). Programs compressed with ASPack are self-contained and run exactly as before, with no runtime performance penalties.

More particular information about the plans of development for this project will be published on the StarForce and ASPack Software official site by the end of August 2007.

Using our long-term experience, we intend to develop and support the ASPack Software products and offer new solutions to our clients based on this purchase, - says Michael Kalinichenko, CEO of StarForce Technologies.

"We have chosen StarForce to sale our project not by accident. We are assured, that the sale to the market lider will bring the new technologies up to our project and will offer much more perfect and convenient product to the users ", - Alexey Solodovnikov, the head of the ASPack Software says.
Thats some bad english, lol

Still feels the the end of an era.
I hated it when Bitarts went under, just because I loved ripping their code apart, same with VBox (Back when it was Preview Systems Inc.)

One things for sure, Armadillo isn't going anywhere nor is SafeDisc. Guess its good of time as any to come back into the scene, been afk with some personal drama.
