Hi

If you have faced problem where in your HDD is not being detected by bios
and if chance its 7200.11 Barracuda seagate then you might have been hit by Bsy problem

I know i am not going add much value in this post, but just wanted to share
that i was able to successfully recover my external portable hdd using the below solution using an old CA-42 Nokia Clone datacable

Green -> TX
Red -> RX
Blue-> GND
