I'm the maker (well, one of them) of S-Spline... and I'd really
appreciate it if you would register the program legally. We put TONS
of work in it, and it sucks bigtime if everybody steals it.

Using your software for educational purposes and like I say and have said
before if you like the app then I reccommend buying it.

That's what we have a demo version for. Everybody can try it and find
out for himself, no need for cracks or other shit.

Your software is limited. Anyway I have reccommended people to purchase your
software, but people would rather just crack it.

Ofcourse it's limited, it's a demo version. It gives a perfect
impression of what the software is capable of, without giving away the
actual functionality. If we didn't limit the software, how much people
do you think would still register it?

If you download something that was posted it is not really stealing;-)))
Like if you find a wallet on the street....you pick it up but you are not a
thief...

Just because groups decide to crack your software, to me its not thievery,
its a challenge to see whether or not your software is breakable, and only
then from there to let others know how you could prevent people from
cracking it, make it stronger, make it harder for people to crack.

People posting "somebody please post a cracked version" actually mean
"so I can use it without paying", and I consider that stealing. We
invest incredible amounts of effort and time to develop software,
which we try to make a living with. They let us do the effort, but
take the reward away from us.

Besides, they didn't crack it, see below.

I deeply respect people who crack my software. Really. I'm an
assembler phreak myself, I know what's involved with it, and I would
gladly see the situation as you describe it. However, the retards
currently spreading "cracks" for S-Spline Pro or S-Spline 2.2 are
pathetic lamers who can hardly be mentioned with "crackers" in one
sentence. I only saw a crack for S-Spline 2.1 *ONCE*, and I mailed the
guy that he did a great job.

As far as I know there is NO working crack, keygen, patch or whatever
for S-Spline Pro or S-Spline 2.2, although I'd gladly be proven wrong.
The only thing these retards do, is spreading serials they bought from
us (with stolen credit cards probably). Is that the challenge you were
talking about?

Which brings me back to the thievery thing, they're not spreading
their cracks (i.e. *their* piece of work) but *our* serials. Serials
that come with a license agreement and clearly state they're personal
and intended for single site usage only.

Crackers -> Great, I thank them for their effort.
Losers spreading purchased serials -> FUH-Q, you're destroying our
work. I rather keep making more software like this for a living than
cleaning up garbage bins, but if people keep freeloading...

Oh come on, no of course it's not physically stealing an item from us.
However we do all the effort, yet dont get the reward for it because
other people spread serial numbers, which are in fact copyrighted and
licensed for single usage only. Something in that process simply ain't
right.

It's as if people find it *reasonable* that we have to invest all this
time and many many months of work, without getting anything for it. I
mean, we're not some kinda multimillion dollar business, forcing
everybody to use our shit and having a monopoly or something. We are
simply trying to make a living with our stuff, and people seem to like
it otherwise they wouldn't be asking serials for it.
