I need a pack...
Hi. My name is Lord_Yankee and, once again, I didn't bother reading the rules about where I should post REQUESTS and keep violating one rule or another. I'm really sorry I didn't read the rules even after I was advised last time to do so. I just thought the NO REQUESTS rule for the General Discussion Forum couldn't mean ME. Maybe someday I'll learn they do NOT go in either the General Discussion Forum or the Software Release Forum, which is probably why they actually say that there, and realize they go in the REQUEST FORUM. (In case you haven't guessed, this was edited by JMI)

Something like that existed for VB executables; I don't know about generic ones. Anyway, it isn't too hard to implement if the DLL functions are dinamically linked at compile time; but if the function are linked at runtime, I think it's impossible to carry out

Vox Humana:
Just noting that the list of birthdays for today list yours and claims that your age is 85. If this is correct, which I doubt, it would be nice to have someone of such a venerable age active in RCE activities and even better to have someone here actually older than I am. In any case, Happy Birthday. Regards.

Indeed, I'm very old; I still run Windows 1.01 on DOS 3.0...
JMI, you're (obviously) right, with regard to the first remark, at least. Neither I'm 85 years old, nor todat is my birthday: it's only a (stupid) joke due to mi childish character, my age regardless .Not so about the second remark: you'll be pleased to know that (I'm pretty sure) I'm far older than you anyway. ![]() However, I warmly thank you for your good wishes ![]() Regards |

Vox Humana:
It would be difficult for you to be "far older" than I am and not BE 85. I was born early in 1946, while Truman was still in his first term as President of these United States. That makes me at least twice as old as most of the folks who post here. My birthday was on March 1 and the age and birthdate listed for me was correct. I also figure if I act childish, most people will still think I'm young.Regards.

Really, JMI? Is that actually your birthdate? At least, that demonstrates the relativeness of the idea of "age"
![]() If so, no, I'm not older than you; but I'm also twice as old as most of the folks who post here. I'm sorry I neglected your birthday; you must be a very nice person. Regards |

Vox Humana:
That is indeed my true year and date of birth. As to whether or not I am a "very nice person" or a "flaming a**hole" remains a matter of debate in some circles, but everyone is entitled to an opinion and, in many countries, one is even entitled to express it. Maybe someday that will be a right enjoyed by all peoples, even the ones who chose to disagree with me. But thank you for the sentiment. Hopefully with age comes experience, from which one may draw wisdom. Regards.
