DiskGuard cd protection

Since this is my first post I'd like to salute everyone and thank the admins for the great job they are doing. I'm still a bit intimidated posting here since I'm quite a newbie and this forum seems to have attracted some of the best reversers..
Anyway I'd like to ask this:
Has anyone try to crack a diskguard protected cd without having the original one (only a non working copy)? The only essay on the subject seems to be Colin McRae Rally game by G��DiX but it's in Spanish and also I think he uses the original cd to dump the exe. Any suggestions?
