Hi, there.
I have a problem with Softice in DriverStudio 3.1 (2.7 also). My system is Win2K(SP4) with Logitech cordless keyboard and mouse. The keyboard and mouse share one receiver, which in turn connects to a USB port. The problem is, I can invoke softice window by Ctrl-D and keyboard works fine, but the mouse does not move. More seriously, after I close softice window by F5, the mouse is still unresponsive. It remains dead unless I reboot the machine. However, if I don't touch the mouse when softice window is present, after I press F5 the mouse works normally. I tried many options in settings: Disable mouse support, Do not patch keyboard driver, Disable USB keyboard patching, Disable USB mouse patching, Mouse none. As long as I don't disable USB keyboard patching, other options do not change anything. If I do, then even Ctrl-D stops working. I also tried setting MouseType = 0x8103 in registry, still no luck. I wonder if anyone has similar experience like this. Your help is appreciated. |
