This has gone on far longer than I should have allowed it. We accomplish nothing by having a discussion of ethics regarding piracy and supporting developers. Pirates are simply going to pirate software and there is no argument strong or compelling enough to stop this. Arguing with them is going to accomplish nothing. We do not need to attack others or try to persuade each other into our own way of thinking. This thread began as a discussion about the closing of slysoft. Now that they have returned under a new name, I think it is time to end this pointless discussion.
