The RUS is not expired in the version I have seen, it has many years left. It is the master license file which imports into the ProductKeys registry key that has expired. Each product feature has a 'Serial' value which is a 45 byte array encoded into a 50 char BASE64 string. The [Key Number] in the license file corresponds to the SERIAL_ID in the rus_fib. The 45 byte array is a secure hash of the key number, product code, some internal codes and the expiry date.
