@nino:
Thank you for the reply.. As I have stated in my post, I particularly don't have any trouble with any app using Crypkey, but earlier on ( around 9 years ago or so) I had a lot of problem with an app, and it is one of my very first posts here on this forum. Though I hads bought the program, the Crypkey was creating such a mess of my computer that I had to finally get rid of the Crypkey... At that time, with the help of a few members in this forum, I was able to learn a lot and finally remove all the Calls to Crypkey functions. At this point of time, I had come to learn that the Crypkey Version 7 SDK was very much modified from that of SDK version 6 ( which you have rightly clarified in your post above). Consequently, I was and am still very much interested to see what all they'd modified and thus learn more of it. But I find that the Crypkey guys believe in using OBSCURITY to avoid any crackers getting to their protected apps, and hence even after a great deal of search, I find that it is almost impossible to get my hands on the Crypkey SDK version 7 ( am sure that the Crypkey guys reading this post must be very happy !). At the same time, I find that it is VERY VERY EASY to crack any of the Crypkey protected apps. Right now my main focus is on a Wibu CodeMeter protected app, which is turning out to be quite a challenge to fully unpack. I have been able to make it run FULLY without the dongle though, so far. Was planning to see if anyone here would be interested ... Most of the work is done and only around 10% of the work remains to be done... Good luck ! |
