Ive been locked/my computer fucked before when i updated to sp1. I had to format, but lucky for me i found a download for a slipstreamed sp1 xp pro.
Yeah, if i do decided to move to sp2 i am going to back every little thing up, because even when stuff is legit weird shit can happen
