For example, Utshiha was able to provide me with an old CORE crackme.

I expect that if you are able to create a keygen for a groups own crackme that they will be interested in you.

Well, lets look at the NFO files. Many of them say something like "you know where to find us - if not, we're not interested in you".

And they're right. You don't just join the scene by asking on some web forum. There are more than enough talented people out there, if you can't build a chain of trust between you and the scene you will never get in. It's a basic security consideration.
