Rules question: can I post a link to another forum?

Hi.

Just a quick question about the rules here. I am a "Registered User" (this is only my 2nd post) and I have the software that someone who is a "Newbie" is requesting. I could upload the software as an attachment but then I think he can't download it since he is a "Newbie"? (I think "Newbie" means "New member"?)

So can I post a link to the forum where I originally found the software?

Yes you can. It is preferred that users upload a file on an external host when possible, instead of using unnecessary storage space on the server.
