I don't recommend the home edition (my 0.02cts), however the business product (Symantec Endpoint Protection) is quite good.

Well, first hi to all people here.

then, about wich is the best comercial antivirus I think that Kaspersky is th best. Easy, fast (don't slow your pc). But it's very dificult to get a key for long time.

Then in my House I use NoD. Its really good too and it's very easy to get new licenses everywhere.

In my work we use Panda, but its very slow. And McAffe it's so simply to break.

Then I think that kaspersky and NoD are the best comercial antivirus at the momment.

If you're not doing a lot of nasty stuff, Prevx can be very effective at stopping threats. It's quite proactive and thus will stop most unknown and possibly malicious files from running, plus it's very good at cleaning up existing malware (that alone imo would justify its cost). If you're using the PC for active development or better yet for IT security research Prevx will get in your way far too much to tolerate it. In that case AVIRA + ClamAV for Windows (connected to Immunet) will be a pretty safe setup, if you keep your box properly patched and configured.

Prevx is not bad, but only for simplest rootkits. Also, during tests it has a lot of "false-positives"... Their heuristics engine is too angry, even in basic scanning mode.
Anyway i'm using Kaspersky 2010.

I think
There is not much different with anti viruses(of course they use many different tricks and philosophy for protect your data's)
But at all if you do not be careful about what you do they cannot help you,
even you have BEST,Expensive,Top rate Security Suite Finally you fail

This days i recommend Immunet Protect Free, with Open source engine

every AV has points of excellence and points of low reactivity.

I like kaspersky engine, but also i would recommend Comodo, especially the Firewall solution (i've worked for Comodo) it's a good growing AV engine

For a personal use, i go with Kaspersky. For me best engine, fastest signature updates...
For an enterprise/console management use i vote for TrendMicro.

I supose everyone tells which one he used more...
