Issue: Programming a vUSB emulated dongle

Is it just a problem of me only or is it correct that the problem does exist?

I have my own dongle of HaspHL and Sentinel Super Pro.
One day, I made an emulator of both my dongles.
They all works fine with my protected notepad.exe

Then, I changed the project with envelope tool (shell wizard).
So, I have to re-program my dongles so that it can work with this new project.

The real dongles can be re-programmed without any problem.
However, when I tried to re-program the vUSB emulated dongle, it says cannot find the device (dongle).

Also, the old HaspEdit cannot find the emulated dongle with the correct password.

So, I assume that both SuproPro and HaspHL use a different method to find their dongles inside the tools of their SDK CD.

Vusb emulators simply don't emulate the functions used to program the device. You can do all you need to do just by editing the Reg file.

Doesn't Haspedit need the hvc vendor code file?. Hasp HL Toolbox certainly does.

Thank you.

In fact, I used Haspedit on Hasp4.
And yes, I need my MasterKey to program the HaspHL via Toolbox.

As for Superpro, I used the SproQuery() function.
I do not what the value should be in REG files. The [algo] cells cannot be dumped.

Emulating SuperPro

If you have the real SuperPro, you can retrieve info from that, analyse it and make a Reg file to emulate it. You need the PVA V3.3 dumper, f1__nodongle.exe or dmp2ssp.exe to analyse the dump, UniDmp2Reg.exe to convert the SSP to Reg file. Or you can use dmp2reg to go directly from Dump file to reg file. I uploaded a version specifically for the MultiKey emulator here a few months ago. Search for dmp2mkey.
