FlexLM 10.8+ new feature - common vendor daemon

Hi all!

A new version of the FlexLM/FlexNet-Licensing SDK is up for grabs at macrovisions ftp-server. It has some nice new features as well, the most remarkable are these:
- cross version licensing
- common vendor daemons

It's available for Windows and a plethora of *NIX variants, so get it while it's hot B)

Code:
ftp://ftp.globes.com/v10.8rc3/

I just toyed around a bit with the new SDK and decided to testdrive one of the new features: common vendor daemons

in short: one vendor daemon (the primary daemon) can serve licenses for multiple secondary daemons. one can even combine features for multiple daemons in one package line.

attached is an small example daemon (1 primary & 2 secondary daemons)
from which I could not (yet) rediscover my seeds...

so take this as a challenge

Dirk

edit:
[sorry JMI ! I just assumed the announcement in the software-release forum would be appropriate]
