Some IDA parts leaked (or were shared) from Seagate and other private sources. Now they are open for all and will be banned. May be also lead to penalties.

Oh man, so why did you share it?
You had to know that lot of people get into trouble if you release it :/
Was it worth it?

Could we please stop the blame game?
He has realized his faults and accepted his mistakes openly, I think this is the most difficult thing to do and he has proved beyond reasonable doubts that he is remorseful for his deeds.
let's pretend this never happened and move on because laying blames will not solve anything rather escalate it.
there is more than enough discord in the world already and that is more than "enough dose".

Let me make something very clear here. Breaking trust like this by leaking stuff shared in confidence is something I (and I'm certain many others) do not tolerate. Not even after a thousand apologies!

To DMichael:
I'm not angry, so in that sense you are forgiven, but I cannot trust you anymore.

I had this suggestion in my mind , I really wanted to tell that If possible ,Exetools should hide the forum section from google spiders and web bots ,that does index them.It is really essential for this forum to be kept more private. And for stuff like IDA , while posting any thread , tag should be included , so if system has any function to hide/keep private such thread will be really useful.

Just Suggestion

I also ,agree.Private stuff/exclusive stuff should be kept private , but i think in scene has such incidence are happened before. Some of private trackers i'm on are really merciless when anybody even share bad invite to friend who can't keep ratio or broke rules.Everyone gets banned

@DMicheal:

Well, you can surely specify your real ID, that will help Seagate ppl a lot, instead of an apology in such a cracking/warez forum like this i.e it doesn't mean anything.

Taking sides would be pointtless is this case, im happy though that it was releases.
but understand that some stuff should be hidden.
Im actuelly pretty stunned you devs keept it secret for so long, so thumps up for that.
Pretty much sums up, that the devs on the board are pretty good friends.
but in the end it was enedible.

Board gains nothing on the blaim game here, You should settle on irc or something.Only causes alot of
unnecessary drama that benefits no one here.

Offcause pitty that the real punishment comes to Seagate that proberly dont have any part of this mess.
So @Michael next time Prober Remove license information of the holders.

MxExodia sounds like a reasonable man, in time he proberly would prober forgive you , i know i would.

But trust lol we are crackers we cant be trusted.Els we would all be using are real names.

Regards

I agree with mr.exodia on this situation. There is certain things that an apology can not repair the damage done. DMichael good for you for apologizing as I am sure it can make the coping towards your actions easier, but to consciously make such decision that potentially puts others' safety at risk, one time is one to many.

Hope you learned from it thought.

Trust is very hard to win, but very easy to lose.
Friend you are your actions do the talking for you

I agree with the explanation of Mr Exodia.
