IDA 6.8 Released

So let's wait for a leaked version, or something in that direction...

If 64 Bit Olly may be ready in one or two years, hunting for next new IDA could have an end.

this release is mainly bugfixed
i am waiting fo ollyx64 too but mr.exodia's x64_dbg is excelent tool

Yes indeed, the pics I saw, looked very very good, so I wanted to download and try.
But I always get with http://snapshots.x64dbg.com the message "Server not found"...

Hope this is only temporarily, because that's what I have seen, made me really curious.

As for the new ida version nice to see they fixed most of the bugfixes.

for fun i patched the 6.8 ida.wll to work with idag.exe (6.6), since ida.wll holds the new functions.
I upgraded 6.6 exe to work with demo 6.8 and and all works like full ida thinking its a 6.8 version, so only bugfixes.

Next version would be a mayor change, since they are switching from Qt4 to Qt5, and dropping Pyside.Im looking forwars to this Leaked version

That was a very good idea. I've just done the same and it works great. In use, i haven't noticed what the bugfixes actually fix yet, but I will look through the readme.

I don't. Far from it. Hex-Rays is going balls out in finding the culprits for the last 2 releases and their source probably.

Whatever has been compromised is already compromised, and it looks like they got caught and the licensed file they had retrieved was deactivated. So back to square one..


Either that, or it is already being used by the people who should be using it in our community; as in, it would already be a scene release..

It's not really something that is going to be shared I think. many times things have been shared before in private forums and ended up everywhere.. so probably not..
