@ athapa : the way used is good .
but there a problem in it ,that u must keep load ur OS with windows 8.1 disable driver signature enforcement , to use ur Driver's . I will explain the step's here -it is diffrent that gusmen have - because u will not find the option's where he mentions . Load Ur OS till DeskTop then : 1- Form Start Menu ,Chose sign out From (Shut down or sign out ) option. 2-after the u sign out ,the User interface will appear . U will see the Power Button on right down screen . 3- Hold Shifft Button and press this Power Button a menu will appear with 3 Option's chose restart . 4-U will now see 3 Option's before the OS restart: Quote:

interesting...
why not just enable driver self signing (test-mode) There is even a nice tool to do it with a few clicks only: https://www.heise.de/download/product/driver-signature-enforcement-overrider-71186/download 1.) Start the dseo13b.exe, on win 7 and 8 select "Enable Test Mode" and press next. (you end up at the same screen in the end select exit and next to quit) 1b.) I noticed that on win 10 the option inside the tool to enable test mode no longer works, but you can still do it manually by running "bcdedit /set testsigning on" in a elevated command prompt. 2.) reboot, check for the ugly watermark on the desktop (there are other tools to remove those if its to much of an eye sore) 3.) start dseo13b.exe, select "Sign a System File" and enter the path to the *.sys file, and press next. voila you can load the driver. no need to fiddle with the boot menu on every boot. PS: On windows 10 machines with newer windows 10 builds you will need to disable secure boot in BIOS for self signing to be permitted. Cheers David X. No I did not, as it was on the first page in this sub forum i just assumed it wont be to old But yes I ran a search for dseo13b and there was no how to for it and since I knew that it nends a manual step starting at win 10 though it would be a good idea to post one. |
