[dnSpy Extension] TraceSpy

TraceSpy as Extension for dnSpy

Allows you to catch system trace messages directly in best editor out there: dnSpy.
(similar to DebugView)

HowTo

Simply copy the dll to dnSpy folder.

  • Using new GUIDs
  • new Name
  • autoresize columns (for some of the first rows)
  • removed some unused code
  • fixed running with dnSpy.exe

  • added possibility to filter for a custom PID
  • cleanup
  • current source code uploaded

  • removed unused code and code colorizer

2016-11-06
  • added Context menu to filter for selected itemPID
  • added more controls, clear filter
  • added possibility to redirect trace messages to the log window as text

I had some issues compiling the source from Github because the project as you download it, is missing 3 dependencies/references (all dnSpy related .dlls; so easily fixed), but it also gave me a 'corrupted' .lock file error (also easily fixed by simply deleting the JSON.lock file from the source dir) in VS2015. After fixing that, it worked just fine ...

Just sayin', most people hope & sometimes expect to be able to compile sources with a few clicks (without fixing depends, locks ,etc.) ...PS: keep up the good work; dnSpy plugins are rare !

I added the referenced files now so that it can be compiled without additional manual downloads.
