Hi!

This is SP2 RC1 latest version? I have too, but my version is 2096.
If so, i'm interesting in SP2 latest build standalone version (smaller size, slipstream can be built from XP original release).

Anyway, what is included in support and diagnostics CD?

The Customer Support Diagnostics package contains the following tools:

Symbols
Symbols are names that software developers assign to various pieces of code. The symbols for SP2 are bundled into files that you must install on your computer before you can use the debugging tools to diagnose system problems in your Windows XP operating system.

The package includes both retail and checked versions of the symbols for SP2 for Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional. For more information about these symbols, see Installing Symbols.

Debugging tools
You can use debugging tools to analyze failures and other problems that occur with your operating system and the applications running on it.

The Debugging Tools for Windows package includes Microsoft Windows Debugger (WinDbg), which is a debugger with a graphical interface for both user-mode and kernel-mode code. The package also includes Microsoft Kernel Debugger (KD), NT Symbolic Debugger (NTSD), and Microsoft Console Debugger (CDB), among others. For more information about debugging tools, see Installing Debugging Tools.
