I've created a Windows 10 ENT LTSC image...
The ISO image is 3.5GB (super-minimal build)
The installed 64bit VM image is just over 7GB. My question, is if this is a good working size, or should I try to shrink it even more? |

Also depends what you are trying to ultimately achieve, and what as a result you can strip from the original image...
One other thing, out of interest what are you using to build the image? NTLite? |

Yes it would be interesting to know the dism commands needed to shrink it precisely. In fact better would simply be to distribute a provisioning script in addition to the release. With each component you strip out come subtle consequences as MS redesigns certain parts. Especially the Windows Store app stuff is pretty heavy, but they have added countless other services and such now.
Under a gig is ideal plus mainly oriented towards reversing desktop apps is most likely useful. Though admittedly reversing store apps will be come more and more important in the future. |

I do not think you stripped out something.
Original VL Image: SW_DVD5_WIN_ENT_LTSC_2019_64-bit_English_MLF_X21-96425.ISO is 3.8GB and it is version 17763.107 So the question remains how and what did you remove? |

I saw this but didn't get the chance to D/L them for myself before they were removed. And why I'm trying to build my own.

At least I have a "size" to shoot for. I'm using Win7 for RE, but feel I need to move to a new OS. I used this file: en_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_74865958.iso |

You can use dism to mount the image and take more stuff out of it. Your file is also the LTSC version it simply does not come from the volume license program.
