Hi everyone, just reaching once in a while but as a Delphi coder i was wondering what is IDR (did you meant IDA ?)

@Kameo he is referring to Interactive Delphi Reconstructor: https://github.com/crypto2011/IDR

Bad that this tools do not support latest versions of Delphi/Builder...
can decompile only extra old versions |

Because it's was never maintained after public release.
Use IDR - Interactive Delphi Reconstructor instead. The IDR creator used some info from DeDe (DaFixer) and DCU32Int (Alexey Hmelnov). Kris kaspersky was very active until his dead in 2017. You can find the sources and binaries here: https://github.com/crypto2011/IDR Download the KB's and place into IDR folder. Happy decoding! |

the issue is that IDR stopped on some XE4 (or 5) edition of products... and there were way much more afterwards happily, the other tool that IDR is cooperating with - http://hmelnov.icc.ru/DCU/ is evolving realy fast and alrady supports up to Berlinale 10.2 editions so someone might have some fun to add support and build up new sys bins for newer Delphi versions |

Just in case, the original source code of DeDe is found archived here: https://code.google.com/archive/p/dedex/

So, no copycat. I just mean, technical information. Because DeDe was at the forefront. IDR don't need any deadly fix. You just the need the KB. Knowledge bases for various Delphi versions can be found at: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9ran313nidqtagb/AADl_m_9GVYSiXUviZtDQWQHa?dl=0 And you can do it by yourself, like crypto2011 says here: https://github.com/crypto2011/IDR/issues/46#issuecomment-464480421 Cheers |
