You are a lowlife for wanting to do such things and an idiot for asking reverse engineers how to do so

All right children. Let's play nice in the pool.

I've made the point before, we don't want this to become a flame pit where comments are made about the poster, rather than the subject of the post. It is not difficult to suggest a question lacks merit without name calling and such. When you feel a question is beneath your notice, don't respond.

The only useful purpose of criticism is to teach how to do it right. That can usually, but not always, be done more or less politely.

Regards.

That was a direct quote from "How To Become A Hacker" by Eric Steven Raymond. Seems his quotes have changed a little, but the essential is there
hxxp://www.megspace.com/computers/tinseki/story/hacker-howto.html#id2752985

(btw, why not embed in the url parsing function en.safeurl.de? Good for loosing the referrer aspect of direct linking)

Well if you are going to qoute use "" "" to indicate the fact and perhaps a smilie face to lessen the sting. I previously got the code to prevent clickable urls from DaikenX at RCE messageboard and tried to send it to Aaron, without success. As soon as I have some free time, still trying to unpack from moving, I'll try it again.

Regards.

Safeurl is a "forwarder" sort of deal... I seen some message boards implement it and have tested it on my webserver... eg if you type http://en.safeurl.de/?http://www.somesite.com, it will load somesite.com with a referer of safeurl.de not the current page.. Pretty neat too
