Wiritng IDA plugins in Delphi (being lazy)
Hi Guys,
I am being a lazy fucker again and dont want to manually convert the IDA SDK header files from c to delphi. Does anybody (/me looks at HQN) have pre-converted header files and other useful yummies for making delphi IDA plugins ?? I dont have my SDK here with me, so I would also like to know how much work is involved? I am a very advanced delphi developer so it is not like I will have any real trouble with converting the files. Anyways Thanks REDBull (Please move this message to the Requests section of the board) Last edited by redbull; 09-15-2004 at 21:46. |

Hi redbull !
I feel sad to say with you that it is almost impossible to convert the IDA SDK from C/C++ Header files to Delphi. A very large job and a lot of tedious works. Many functions in IDA SDK uses inline call, and many call to member functions in exported classes in ida.wll. I think it is a waste time to convert. But you can write IDA plugin with C++Builder. IDA have a plugin example (Chart) written in C++Builder. Best regards, TQN |

Cool thanks HQN.
I will use c++ builder and besides c++ builder can compile delphi code too Yeah i saw in the SDK last night that there is far too much to change |
