iTunes DRM remove
Ive been playing with removing the DRM from my downloaded iTunes TV shows. The files themselves are encrypted/protected, and I think that protection is specific to the users account (so you can't just take an encrypted file and decrypt it with a generic DRM removal tool). At least that's how it appears ?
Ive been using NoteBurner M4V Converter Plus (which i would also like to reverse - on anther thread one day ) which appears to open my iTunes and (perhaps) talk direct to iTunes to then play it back and remove the DRM, and provide a clean .mp4 file (which it does do 100%). Has anyone worked with the iTunes DRM and how to remove it from the downloaded shows ? And can anyone confirm that you do need access to the users iTunes to be able to remove the DRM ? FK |

Hello,
I was playing with remove DRM from some songs, I was using NoteBurner DRM audio Converter on macOS. it comes to me that iTunes is a must have for these DRM removing programs. They are using iTunes to decode and play song/video and capture it to file. I was not able to find online DRM remover that is really working. best regards |

OK must be making some hidden API call to iTunes to get it to play and decrypt it.
Will just work on the Noteburner software then since it know how to do it... |
