I found a few good programming ebooks at:
hxxp://jztele.com/~coldice/book/net/

Some weird filenames on a few of them, but I downloaded them and they seem fine anyways! Weird Enjoy!

edit:
i also found these two in my favorites:
hxxp://www.hypothetical.net/sillydog/Text/eBooks/
hxxp://docs.msfree.ca/ebooks/

a great forum but you have to proove yourself first!!

Hi, visit the Online Reference forum and get the BEST books available...
but before you get to the best you have to proove yourself to the various admins before you are allowed access!! The forum not only handles books but also music, films, hacking, cracking etc.

To give you some example of what has been posted in the last days (I haven't download it so you don't have to ask me!!):

Book Companion CDs

Here you can find the Companion CD for some of those ebooks you may have!

Code:
http://safariexamples.informit.com/
The xxxxxxxxxx folders are, in fact, the ISBN codes of books. So, first search for the ISBN code of your book (usually, on the "Copyright notice" page) like, for instance, 0-7357-1253-0, and then see if the coresponding folder exists, in this case is folder 0735712530.

I hope someone will find this info useful. I did.

Hi all,

I have been reading this long thread and found most of them are in ftp. Being dial up user i cannot access many ftp site but i have look at http sites. most of the books i found related to programming, communication, technical stuffs only. so i have one site that contains some non-tech list of book. i think it will reboot ur tech. mind .

h++p://www(dot)turboreactor(dot)com

and go to E-book section. And i think that site is DonationWare...
