SSDT in Windows Vista/7 x86

Hi all

I know that SSDT table is protected in x64 version of windows Vista/7/2008 Server,
But is it also protected on x86 ? Is it PatchGuard or ...?
or its like Older windows versions?

on x86 it's not protected, you can hook it if you want without a problem.

In addition, you have to be careful when you look at SSDT, depending on Windows version. For x64 Win7, the searching way of service table in SSDT is totally different from one of WinXP.
