unpacked file

i've downloaded VisualProtect from the official site

h**p://www.visagesoft.com/downloads/get.php/vp.exe

and in the installation directory you can find a file "GenerateLicense.exe", it has LordPE marker in the PE header and ImpRec marker in the section header (".mackt" section), so it seems it'a a rebuilded file, but isn't it weird? Are they using some "borrowed" stuff that they had to rebuild?

You must check this file with PEiD or similar tool. They simply can make "PE rebuild" with LordPE and than rename last section to ".mackt". Some protectors can rename sections to fool cracker. Yes, this is stupid against professional but for newbie... how knows...
