$200 for Code-Lock - a joke?
Weel freaks, with all respects to Ryan from RTSoftware, you can read how I fail to sign in for $2000 competition (cracking Code-Lock protection). Below is my original e-mail and response from RTSoftware. Not to say that I've never seen app protected with Code-Lock.
================================================== me: Hello I would like to sign in in Your competition. Please send me some more informations. By the way, the rules i would like to play: 1. When I'll crack (hope I will) Your protection I'wont show you how I did it. 2. Reversed application will accept any keys. 3. Then it will be protected manually be me. 4. What I'll send You is application protected by Your system, it will be cracked and again protected by me. RTSoftware: Sorry, you will not be eligible for the challenge since you do not abide by Rule 4. I will have to verify all "successful" attempts. -- Regards, Ryan ========================================= Well, if they mean to learn with me, that's not the way I like it. As I understand it has to be cracked... nothing else. If I say "I will protect it manually again" I mean hiding what has been changed. Describing and learning isn't a competition - THAT'S A SCHOOL. |
