Borland DOS Applications

I have been able to find Turbo Pascal 7.1 (1997) and a japanesse edition of Turbo C++ 4.0 (both for DOS).

As far as I was concerned the latests versions of those products were 7.01 and 3.0 respectivelly (althought also existed Borland Pascal 7.01 and Borland C++ 3.1).

I have been examining the files, and seem that they are not a fake, since some things have been changed. Obviously seems a bit strange, because the non Turbo products (ie the professional editions) has not been updated. Also the Turbo C++ 4.0 was only released in Japan that is also very rare...

Anyone can confirm this?

BP 7.01

I remember there was a patch (upon request to borland, because ...yes, I was a registered user but I knew about the patch from other people, not from borland) named 7.01.
Borland used to put the version in the time field of the files,
so if you have a "genuine" version you should see all the files with a time of "7.01".
The patch was the same for both turbo pascal and borland pascal, a.k.a normal and professional edition.
I have no info about the turbo c because I was not using it at the time.
Bye everybody.

I already own version 7.01 of TP/BP, but I was referring to version 7.1 of TP, and not 7.01.
