Sentinel.sys on 64-Bit Platform?
Amigos,
My cracked sentinel.sys is working fine on Windows XP 32-Bit platform. But soon I have a new machine with 64-Bit processor. Question is, will my sentinel.sys work without problem? Please advice.... |

If you'll be using 32bit WinXP, then the CPU is running in 32bit mode, so there shouldn't be any difference - i.e. it will probably work.
If you'll be using 64bit WinXP, then it certainly won't work, because 64bit XP don't support 32bit drivers at all. |

maybe this method
You disassemble the .sys file, and assemble the result with 64-bit assembler?

Good to know actually... Is this used in an emulated environment? I had assumed the low level IO catches would be different on a 64 bit system... But as usual, I am probably completely wrong
