Ollydbg loading problem
Hi there I have been using Olly for years but now I have gotten a strange problem
Have changed MOBO & PROC(E6600) and all I get when I try and load olly is a quick flash on screen and then it drops out Anyone have any ideas as to what may be going on, I have exhausted everything I know (that's not too much)

Cheers Ricardo, I tried that and it works but only once! The other strange thing is if I copy the whole folder to another drive it works too, but tells me the plugin folder is wrong. As soon as I put that right it will not run again. Just flashes on and then drops out!

Hola hob.
I think one of the plug-ins is messing with your new rig. Proposal: Download a new, virgin copy of Olly. No plug-ins. Should work off the gate. Now start installing the plug-ins one by one, testing Olly after each install. Eventually the guilty party will be found, updated or eliminated. My best bet is one of the plug-ins that installs drivers and ring-0 modules (terayoot?) Also, check if the new MB installed one of their shitty freebie firewall utilities. They clash with Olly frequently. |
