Kottmann LEAK of "Confidential and Proprietary" Sources - Huge and very Mixed repo
Just wanted to let you know Tille Kottmann (https://twitter.com/deletescape) somewhat provides "Confidential and Proprietary" from a range of diverse Software which is/was publicly (but shouldn't) be available. From my understanding this leak is huge.
Overview: https://git.rip/explore/groups Main Group: https://git.rip/exconfidential Telegram Channel: https://t.me/exconfidential Companys can request to take stuff down but in the telegram group many stuff that was taken down on the git repo is still available while uploaded to mega. To give you an Idea how much and what kind of leaks are mostly available I took some screenshots for a first impression. If you really searching/digging for something you really should check the Channel. A Snapshot of the current Repo (some stuff already is taken down and folders are empty) https://i.ibb.co/XkMwY07/04-08-2020-12-20-26.png https://i.ibb.co/W6Ms84x/04-08-2020-12-22-43.png |

There was a folder for the Microsoft specific stuff, but looks to be removed now. However, all the forks of things are still there:
Code:

Schematics for the modern chips are very useful. Hadn't thought a leak of that nature was possible, given how closely guarded they must be. Although likely complex enough to still make it too difficult for accurate reasoning about instruction clocks, or control over branch prediction, etc.

Personally I would love to see the following:
System Management Engine (SME) source code Schematics for released i7/i9 processors BIOS reference code is great. Schematics for an unreleased processor are not bad to have though as it gives a lot of hints likely. Firmware flashing utilities and guides makes life interesting for sure. Simulators are pretty neat as well. Wonder when the alluded to 80GB dump will come. |
