Rebuilding Problem !
I Dumped an Armadillo Protected file. but that is too Huge (about 40MB), at Rebuilding file with Import REConstructor, it will take 3~4 Hour then System will Dump and turn off.
What should i do ?! Last edited by Unforgiv3N; 09-08-2005 at 05:12. |

Well, try to cut unnecessary sections (Arma sections) before fixing with ImpREC, but it would decrease the size only for ~500 KB. Another solution-try to use for example ReVirgin. Or try to fix another app with Import Table that you need, then move this table from that app to needed app and fix header a bit.

Hello:
Could you PM me your target name? I'd like to test it with a procedure in a program I'm developping that performs the same task than Import REconstructor does, maybe it is getting shorter... Archer: if doing as you said in your third method (rebuilding in another app), you will need when rebuilt, modifying many of the api calls of the code, to match the right new ones. Not very difficult, but needed a careful task. Cheers Nacho_dj |

Thanks Nacho_DJ
Sorry, But Target is Not Available for you, that a Custom App and too Big I could not upload it. and Import REconstructor will Confuse, beacuse there are many Import on it. I did test it on AMD64 3200+ / 1GB RAM - now i'm looking for a Dual Processor System if there is any Idea Please Write Here! Thanks |

Hello:
Maybe a good thing would be checking how big the size of the code section is. And how big the first thunk is, too. You know, the bigger the size, the slower the rebuilding of them... Any more clue about how the application is? Cheers Nacho_dj |

Hello:
I could help you in the rebuilding of the import table, because I have been coding a procedure that perform that task, and it is working fine. But without the possibility of testing it, I don't know how could I help you. About Armadillo I have never been facing it, so... maybe there will be another forum members that could help you. Armadillo is not my Problem, Rebuilding is My Problem
If you have New Tool(z) about this, give it to me I will Test and Report Thanks |

Ok, but the only problem is that I have got it as a procedure of a big application still in developping process, not as a standalone tool.
The only way is using that code for a new tool. Maybe I will think about that, but it would be a very simpler tool than Import Reconstructor and I need time to code that... If I could build that I report you. Cheers Nacho_dj |
