strange filter problem

Hi anyone know how to get rid of this "http://filter.abileneschools.org/access/web" . Every time I start firefox this is where it goes, it has me beat

have you tried typing
Code:
about:config
in the firefox browser.
Be carefull in there

Yes, done that mate and reset firefox to default settings all to no avail. Even removed it with revo and that did nothing either

Hi hobferret
Uninstall the mozila and delete the folders about "mozilla" in docummnets and settings (for win xp) and use this tool to clean the registry, however check the keys that will be deleted by mvregclean, some times it deletes keys that we need. I hope this can help you

maybe its just an url in your shortcut plus you can always try uninstall an install
