Cannot save database as IDC script with IDA 5.0.0.879

I've only just found that I cannot save the current database as an IDC script with IDA 5.0.0.879. IDA just issues the error "Disk may be full?" and saves a 244 byte file with just the header. I have the same problem with idag.exe and idag64.exe. Both were patched from the links on here when first released, and later patched for the "corrupt database" problem reading older db's.

Has anybody else seen this or know of a solution please?. Alternatively, is there another (non-manual) method of retrieving all your work from one version of a disassembly to a new version please?. I should be clearer - the program I am disassembling has been updated and I want to try to keep as much as I can of all my work. I have previously used Produce File->Dump Database to IDC File in the past but it does not seem to work in 5.0.0.879.

Meanwhile, I will see what I can achieve with http://forum.exetools.com/showthread.php?t=8650 which I just managed to find on the second attempt.

Thanks.

OK... Could somebody please confirm that Produce File->Dump Database to IDC File does work for them in V5.0.0.879 ?. Thanks.
