Wink Now what do I do?

Hello... I'm new to cracking in general. I've been doing the simple "fishing" of serials. It's fairly easy although I sometimes feel like I'm just stabbing in the dark. What are some good tutorials that I can learn more from? I'm a decent programmer (c++/c#), but not an ASM programmer. Any other hints? I've been trying to crack some programs that have compression or encryption, I'm kinda a newbie at that. Same thing for keygens... I'd like to create some but I'm not sure where to start.

Thanks for any advice.

First place i would look (for any of these questions that all you new guys are asking) would be google. Theres more than enough links there. Just a little searching will be all you need. Searching this forum (and the others that google leads you to) will lead you to even more information. And heres some more links to get you started.
hxxp://www.anticrack.de
hxxp://www.reteam.org
hxxp://biw.rult.at/

Again, all these can be found on google or forum searches.

What you need to do is show some personal "iinititive" and go out and search the net for information, rather than making this thread a place for new arrivals here to post reference to well know depositories of tutorial materials in efforts to gain post count. Go to your favorite search engine, enter something very complicated, such as: "cracking tutorials" (without the quotes) and begin reading some of the thousands of references you will discover.

If you want help with ASM language, there are also many, many references out there. Another really "complex" search category, such as "assembly language and cracking" will find you mountains of information to get you started.

Regards,
