.Net Framework spoils SoftIce installation??
Is it .Net Framework which spoils SoftIce installation? SICE Driver Suite 2.6 works fine under my other XP but with the XP with .Net Framework the installation just stops before its even started Have i missed something or what? Or is it just that they don't work together?
Please enlighten me! Regards, -=MrCape=- |

I installed SICE to other XP with .Net Framework and there were no problems. But I still wonder why it won't install to my computer? Couldn't find anything to delete from registry. What else i can do? Cheers, -=MrCape=- |

I can't help with the problem you are having, I can only tell you that I am using Softice (DS 2.6 version) with XP and .NET framework.

I have a problem too.
i'm using DS 2.6 and winXP Home (patched with corpfiles) and i'll have no Breakpoints in Sice. I've change all exports in WInice.dat but nothing Sice will set the BP but won't stop on it ;( |

folder security settings...
...them spoiled my installation. I was trying to install SICE from the folder which had full control only to my account(belong also to administrators group). Just changed full control for everyone for the SICE folder and everything went great! SimIce works fine. It just needed SYSTEM rights for the installation.
In any case ...THANKS! Best regards, -=MrCape=- |
